Following Ghana's 2-0 reverse to Uruguay on Friday, Daniel Amartey's involvement in Qatar came to an end, leaving just two Foxes still in the competition. Youri Tielemans, Timothy Castagne, Wout Faes (all Belgium) and Danny Ward (Wales) also fell at the group stage.

Two will become one for Leicester City's representation at the World Cup on Sunday as one-time world champions England take on AFCON holders Senegal at Al Bayt Stadium (7pm kick-off). The winners will then face either France or Poland in the quarter-finals next Saturday (7pm kick-off).

While Maddison is yet to appear for the Three Lions, largely due to injury, Mendy has featured in all three fixtures for Lions of Teranga, who finished second in Group A with six points. Foxes fans can stay up to date with the Club's players in Qatar by using LCFC.com/WorldCup this month.
