We were beaten on our travels on Tuesday night, losing 2-1 to Hull City
Aaron Ramsey scored the Foxes’ consolation goal in the second half
City head to Millwall this weekend for our next Sky Bet Championship fixture
Everyone will be working to put three points on the board, says Ramsey
The Foxes slipped to a 2-1 reverse at MKM Stadium on Tuesday, leaving us eighth in the Sky Bet Championship table after 11 matches, with a third fixture in eight days on the horizon this weekend, having drawn 1-1 with Portsmouth three days earlier.
“We’re all disappointed; staff, players, and I know the fans are as well,” Ramsey admitted. “The bottom line is that in the first half we weren’t good enough and the second half still wasn’t good enough. Everyone knows that.
“We’ve dropped three points and after last Saturday as well we dropped two points there. On Saturday we went one up and didn’t get the second. It’s always hard to think that’s going to see it out.
“[Against Hull], you go 2-0 down so early and it’s not impossible but you give yourself a very hard task to get two or three goals in the second half. It can be done and, in the second half, we had a few chances where I thought we were going to pull it back, but it just didn’t happen.
“I don’t know if we deserved it after the first-half performance. I think everyone would agree with that, they were better than us.”

The Burnley loanee has demonstrated his ability to find the net from different angles across the last two games, making an impact as a starter and a substitute, with his half-time introduction at Hull leading to more promising moments, though ultimately it was not enough.
“When you come on at any point of the game, your main objective is to change the game,” he explained. “You’re chasing and they are going to accept all the pressure, so you have to create as many chances as you can and hopefully bring it back.
“I’m happy to get another goal, that’s two in a couple of days. There were two other chances I think I could have scored, so I’ll be looking more at them than the actual goal, because we could have maybe won the game or drawn the game with those chances as well.
“I like to create goals and score goals and I’ve started to do that now in these two games so hopefully I can carry on now. The main thing is to do that and win a game to get three points.”
A trip to Millwall awaits on Saturday (3pm kick-off), a side now sitting above us in the table, and we must work hard to rectify recent errors, says Ramsey, with all focus firmly fixed on earning a positive result at The Den.
“All we can do now is accept it and make sure that we put it right on Saturday,” the 22-year-old added. “We’ve all got to be raring to go. We’re still around it but everyone knows where the Club wants to go.
“We can’t stay the way we are going at the moment. We’ve got to pick up points and I know Saturday will be a big game for us away at a tough place to go, but the lads will be ready for it.”
