Anything other than a success at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening (7pm BST kick-off) will confirm bottom spot in the WSL for the Foxes.
Ahead of a big test in the capital, the Manager has spoken with the media at Belvoir Drive, talking about morale in the squad, outside noise and the season so far…
‘Staying in that positive mindset’
Leicester were beaten by London City last weekend.
Sunday’s loss at London City Lionesses has made it an uphill task for City - now seven points adrift of West Ham United, who beat Liverpool at the weekend.
Speaking on the game, our Manager was pleased to see such a good start, in which Shannon O’Brien’s goal gave us the lead, but felt a natural nervousness led to our downfall in south London.
“When you look at it, in terms of game management, we’ve gone one goal up and we’ve got our end of possession work, doing well, we then created the goal, but we had this nervous energy after that,” Passmoor explained.
“We conceded quite quickly afterwards, but it’s about staying in that positive mindset throughout the game and second half.
“We played a good team, who thrive in possession, and we need to focus on what’s achievable, control the controllables, and everyone enjoys working in this environment and for this Club.
“Everyone is working together, so we just need to see that through. We need to remain united and try to write a different story in these three games.”
‘Focus on our strengths’
The Manager wants his squad to remain confident heading into the final few games.
Passmoor went on to say that Leicester can only focus on the controllables, creating a positive environment, to put ourselves in the best mindset heading to the home of the current UEFA Women’s Champions League holders.
“You have to make sure there is a high-performance mindset in the group and understand the pressure that comes with the territory,” the Manager continued.
“We need to focus on what our strengths are, and what we are good at, to ensure we continue to compete.
“It’s about dissecting that pressure and create a positive environment. We’ve got hard-working staff and players, so we need to enjoy these three games and work hard to change the narrative.
“Everybody thought we would be in this position, but we know ourselves we are a tight-knit group and we need to stay true to the processes to get us across the line.”
‘We knew it would be a challenge’
Speaking on this season's challenges.
After a summer of change, Passmoor has been proud of his team's efforts, both on and off the field, assuring that commitment won’t change, no matter the scenario we find ourselves in tomorrow evening.
He added: “We knew this season would be a challenge; three or four days before the season started it’s not an ideal situation, but we’ve been continuously supported, and with the positive influence of Lee [Billiard] around the players, we ensured that we are in an area to compete in WSL1.
“All the players are standing up, they don’t have to be the loudest, but they are getting on with their due diligence and are working hard on the training pitch.
“We need to make sure we’re doing our work on the training pitch and making sure every single player in the squad is delivering every day, whether that be in training or a matchday.”
