I would say [Marco] Carnesecchi as a goalkeeper. I played with him at Atalanta. We used to play in the academy together and now he’s doing very well in the first team.
For the defender, I will go with [Riccardo] Calafiori. I think he’s a very complete defender. He can attack; he can defend. I like him. He’s doing well in the Premier League now with Arsenal.
I have to pick one of my team, Ricky (Ricardo Pereira), our skipper. His personality, I like him as a person and as a footballer, we all know what he did and what he’s capable of doing.
I will just go with one midfielder. I choose Wilfred Ndidi because playing together last year, he gave me a lot of experience. He was also my side-mate in the changing room, he talked to me a lot about football and I think he gave me a lot when he was here.
As a striker I played with, I will definitely go with Jamie Vardy. Vards is a top striker and also I’m very happy that he’s doing so well with Cremonese now, one of my former teams.
I also want to give credit to two Colombians. Duvan Zapata, we used to play together when he was at Atalanta. Luis Muriel, for me, he was a top, top striker, too. They could come off the bench!
