Dallas Foxes visit King Power Stadium
Group members attended the Brentford game
The 20-strong group host matchday parties for each fixture
Five members of the Dallas Foxes made their way across the Atlantic to support City against the Bees.
The group, based in Texas, have been proudly flying the blue flag for years, and despite now living thousands of miles away, their connection to Leicester remains strong, with many members having ties to the city.
They have built a thriving community of supporters, and host matchday parties for each fixture, ensuring the spirit of the Club remains strong, no matter the distance.
To show our gratitude for their support, we welcomed them to Filbert Way for a special matchday experience, where they were given the chance to soak in the atmosphere pitchside before kick-off, and capturing a memorable photo to mark the occasion.
Charles Chantry said: “I was born in Markfield but moved to America many years ago. I set this group up in 2019, and we’re a group of 20 people now, which is a fair amount when you think about it. We get on really well and have a lot of fun supporting Leicester City.
“People follow us for different reasons, the 2015/16 season for example or a love of Jamie Vardy, we’ve all got our own stories as to why we support the Club. One of our members studied in Leicester for a year and is now a die-hard fan, so things like that are nice.
“Most people in America seem to go for the big six teams, but we’re a bit different and just have a mutual love for Leicester, supporting the team through thick and thin.
“It was a great experience to be at King Power Stadium last week. Watching Leicester from Dallas is one thing, but to be on Filbert Way was something truly special.
“The Club were absolutely fantastic in how they welcomed us, and we couldn’t be prouder to support the Foxes.”
We extend our heartfelt thank you to the Dallas Foxes for their continued support and passion from across the pond.
