Jordan James says the Foxes must be ready to give their all in Derby

Two successive victories have been followed by back-to-back losses for Leicester City, who are currently 16th in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Foxes want to be higher, though, and are only five points away from the play-off places. Getting wins on the board is the only way to start climbing the table and James is determined to contribute.
As well as outlining a determination to fight for the cause, the midfielder on loan from Rennes also expressed his desire to give the Blue Army something to cheer against local rivals Derby.
“We have to fight,” City’s No.6 said this week. “I think that’s the minimum that the fans deserve. I’ve been at a club, at Birmingham, where all we did was fight and it gets you very far.
“That’s the minimum for us and we have to show that. I know it’s a derby, I know the manager from [my time at] Birmingham. I know how he plays and sets up, so it’s going to be tough.
“They’re going to fight and make it horrible and we’re going to be ready for that. I’m looking forward to it and hopefully I’m able to score another goal. It gives it an extra edge.
“You saw it against Coventry, a game I felt we should have won. I felt that derby feeling. I’ve missed that, in France it’s a bit different, every game’s a bit wild.

“But being back here and feeling that derby feeling, I’m looking forward to it. We know it’s just another game, but we know it’s important to the fans, and if we can get those three points, the feeling, the atmosphere will change, so I’m looking forward to it.”
Although the form has been frustrating for City at times this term, James is loving life in Leicester since joining until the end of the season.
Feeling confident in his abilities and at home at the Club, he’s eager to continue improving in Leicester blue.
He added: “I was actually speaking with my family the other day and I’ve never been at a club that have sort of loved me so much and have got so much trust in me.
“The fans, the staff, the players, I’ve just got such confidence when I’m around them. It obviously helps when you’re playing well and you’re scoring goals.
“When I’m on the pitch, I feel like I can really make a difference and I can be that difference. I think you’ve seen in different games where I’m able to change games by arriving late, being able to score that goal, or even the little things – being able to make that tackle.
“I think fans really appreciate that. For me, I’m just trying to improve as much as possible. I’m in a good head space.
“Last year was tough, so to be able to be here now, it really helps me mentally and I feel like I’m playing probably the best football I’ve played, so I’m in a good place.”
