  • Leicester City and Ipswich Town face off in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday
  • Foxes loanee Divine Mukasa looked ahead to the 3pm kick-off at Portman Road
  • It’s all about putting points on the board now, he stated
The 18-year-old loanee, a January arrival from Manchester City, has already contributed two goals and three assists in his opening five Sky Bet Championship matches, making an instant impact for his new side.
More of the same will be required in the coming weeks if Leicester are to start picking up wins, with a trip to third-place Ipswich Town up next on Saturday (3pm kick-off) for the side sitting 22nd.

“I’m really enjoying it,” he commented earlier this week, covering his loan spell so far. “Everyone has welcomed me in well and I’ve been enjoying the football. [I want to be] getting more goals, more assists and helping to create chances. At the end of the day, that will help us win games.
“As players, we’ve got everything we need. From that point of view, we can’t ask for much more. Obviously, the Club is in a difficult spot at the minute. Everything we do on the pitch is going to help us to get out of that.
“It’s no secret that it’s a difficult position to be in, just in terms of where we are in the table. But I think that can turn really quickly. As soon as we get a win and we get more belief, then we can turn the season around.
“We’ve got more than enough quality. We just need to get some results now and that’ll make everything a lot better.”

Focusing on the task in hand against the Tractor Boys, the mindset within the Foxes camp is clear, Mukasa says, with no room to pick and choose which matches to target for three points at this stage of the season.
He also touched on the influence of new Manager Gary Rowett, who has come in with a clear job and is looking to bind the team together as one.
“It’s just another game that we have to go and win, that’s the only way I look at it,” the attacking midfielder continued. “Of course, every single game is one that we have to win. That’s the goal.
“Everything is energy-based and being together as a team. You can only be winning and successful if you’re together. We’re doing everything together and once we all buy into the same thing, we’ll get some results.”
