Back to Sky Bet League One duties at the weekend, following a three-week hiatus due to the extended international window, it’s a visit from Robbie Savage’s Posh up first as we look to improve on our current 14th-place standing.
The visitors have struggled to string together positive results, winning just one of their opening eight league fixtures, which led to a change in the dugout last week, though a midweek Jersey Mike's Trophy victory over Ipswich Town Under-21s is likely to have boosted confidence in their ranks.

City have also been in action in the same competition during the break, with Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat at Stevenage a frustrating evening for Russell Martin’s Foxes. Speaking in the aftermath of that result at SPORTA Arena, Riis shared his thoughts on how we can progress as focus shifts to the league campaign.
“We put out a lot of young boys and a lot of guys who haven’t played a lot,” he commented following full-time in Hertfordshire. “It was obviously a game where we had the ball a lot and entered the box a lot and then we weren’t good enough when we got there.
“They were in our box twice and scored twice. It’s a game where we were good between the boxes but not good enough in the boxes. I expect the game to maybe be in a similar way on Saturday, so hopefully we can do better then.”

The Danish forward was the man to get his name on the scoresheet at Stevenage, coming off the bench to collect Harry Souttar’s pass through and emphatically rifle it home - his third goal in Leicester colours, following a summer move from Bristol City.
“It was a good ball from Soutts down the side of the two centre-backs,” the 28-year-old analysed. “I heard Bobby [De Cordova-Reid] screaming for it but I couldn’t see him, so I just thought I’d have a shot myself and I was happy to see it hit the back of the net.
“It comes with confidence as well, knowing what each other are going to do and when we get in the box, believing that we are going to score goals. Again, we played well, but we need to be more confident when we get there and play well with each other.”
Tickets for this weekend’s fixture against Peterborough, a 3pm kick-off on Filbert Way, remain available to purchase online.
