  • Emily van Egmond starts for Australia against Mexico
  • The LCFC Women midfielder recently became her country's most-capped player
  • The Matildas were defeated by Mexico 1-0 in Newcastle, Australia
  • Hannah Cain scored from the penalty spot for Wales against Montenegro
Earlier this year, in March, the Foxes midfielder hit 170 appearances for the Matildas since making her debut in 2010 as a 16-year-old, a landmark which was acknowledged during Saturday's clash with Mexico.

She played 84 minutes in Newcastle, Australia, but attention now turns to Tuesday night, as the two sides do it all over again at Parramatta's CommBank Stadium in a second friendly against Mexico (10am kick-off).
Departing striker Hannah Cain, on the other hand, scored a 41st-minute penalty for Wales in their 1-1 draw with Montenegro in FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying.
A late leveller for Montenegro was a blow for the Red Dragons, who missed the chance to take control of their qualifying group. They face Czechia at home on Tuesday evening (6pm kick-off).
