Jake Evans netted a hat-trick in the North East as City's youngsters secured a third win in a row in all competitions on a memorable night for the young Foxes.
Evans opened the scoring inside just six minutes, before Sean Neave levelled matters for the Magpies. Sammy Braybrooke, mind you, got us back in front half-way through the first half.
Evans made it 3-1 after the break, added to by Louis Page's fourth, before another from Evans completed his hat-trick on the hour.
Newcastle hit back with goals from Garang Kuol and Matheos Ferreira to make it somewhat of a contest late on, but Tommy Neale's 93rd-minute strike put the game beyond any doubt.
After a 3-0 success over Coventry City sealed our place in the next round of the Premier League Cup, and a 5-1 triumph at Norwich City in Premier League 2, it's been an encouraging run from the Club's youngsters.
This win nudges us up to 11th in the table, on 21 points from 15 matches, ahead of welcoming Derby County to Seagrave on Monday 24 February (7pm GMT kick-off).
City: French; Aluko, Ali (Godsmark-Ford 75'), Joseph, Amartey; Braybrooke, Cartwright, Briggs (Richards 82'), Evans; King (Fisken 66'), Page (Neale 75').
Sub not used: Donohue.
Goals: Evans 6', 54', 60', Braybrooke 25', Page 57', Neale 90+3'.
