Josh King and Jeremy Monga gave Leicester a strong lead at the break before Jake Evans' second half strike confirmed the win against our East Midlands rivals at LCFC Training Ground.
In their final group stage game of the Premier League Cup campaign, City started the evening in second, just two points ahead of their opponents, but went into the fixture with a strong starting line-up which included Sammy Braybrooke, who returned from his loan with Dundee FC at the start of the year.
Josh King opened the scoring in Seagrave.

The midfielder was at the heart of the action early on when he assisted King just six minutes in to put Leicester in front, before Tom Wilson-Brown provided Monga with the opportunity to double our lead, which he duly took.
Heading into the break in a strong position, the confidence was flowing in the second half, with the game put out of sight a little over the hour mark when Evans scored his third in as many games.
Jake Evans confirmed the win with his sixth goal of the season.

The win took the Foxes' points tally up to 10 after six games, cementing a second placed finish behind Nottingham Forest in Group B, which is good enough to qualify for the latter stages of the competition.
Our Development Squad are next in action next Friday, when they make the trip to Avant Training Centre in Norfolk to take on Norwich City in Premier League 2, kicking off at 7pm GMT.
The details...
City: Bausor; Joseph, Wilson-Brown (Ali 60'), Amartey, Aluko; Braybrooke (Briggs 60'), Cartwright; Monga (Fisken 66'), Page, Evans; King (Pennant 73').
Unused subs: French.
