For Australia, Souttar has got the nod to be included in the Socceroos’ 26-man squad after recovering from a long-term injury towards the end of the 25/26 season, linking back up with the national team for the first time in 18 months.

Elsewhere, Abdul Fatawu is in the Ghana squad heading to North America this month, alongside departing striker Jordan Ayew.
Following Tuesday night’s friendly against Wales, a 1-1 draw, attention will turn to taking on Panama on Thursday 18 June in the Black Stars’ opening Group L match in Toronto.
