With 25 appearances already for her country, the talented individual joined on a permanent basis from FC Twente and will add great talent and competition to our goalkeeper union alongside Janina Leitizig.

Upon signing the deal, Clark outlined her ambitions and reasons for joining us and aiding in our mission of remaining a top flight side.

Recruiting a new goalkeeper.

“It’s a massive Club and the facilities are great; they speak for themselves,” she said. “Leicester are a really ambitious club and I’m excited to get going.

“I think the facilities are among the best in the league and for any player, that’s what you want, and I can develop myself here; I’ve got everything I need.”

Defining herself as a player who is good with her feet and carrying an abundance of experience, the former Bristol City player is excited to get going and meet up with her new team-mates ahead of our Barclays Women’s Super League test with Liverpool.

Looking forward to a new challenge.

“I’m an all-round goalkeeper both in and out of possession,” Clark continued. “I’m quite young still and I just want to help the team as much as I can.

“I’ve played a lot of times for Wales now and I can bring that experience. Qualifying for the Euros with Wales is my favourite moment so far and now I’m excited to get going here and meet the fans.”
