  • Jake Evans came off the bench to make a first U17 appearance in a sizeable England win at the U17 World Cup
  • Louis Page was an unused substitute in a 8-1 success over Haiti
  • It leaves the Young Lions third in Group E with one game still to play
  • Will Daniels could again represent Canada against France on Saturday
Although unused for the Young Lions' opener against Venezuela earlier this week - which included a start for Foxes team-mate Louis Page - Evans emerged from the bench in Qatar on Friday.
Needing a win after suffering defeat on the opening day of their Group E campaign, England's youngsters were in a ruthless mood.
Lucá Williams-Barnett opened the scoring before Reigan Heskey (son of former Fox, Emile) added a second from the spot. Franco Celeste got one back for Haiti, but it wouldn't be the start of a comeback.
With former Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger - now FIFA's Chief of Global Football Development - watching on in the stands, the Young Lions turned on the style.
Reggie Walsh and Alejandro Gomes Rodriguez later found the net and Williams-Barnett got another, while Chizaram Ezenwata hit a hat-trick to confirm a big win to spark life into England's U17 World Cup bid.
As a result, they're now third in Group E, one point behind both Venezuela and Egypt after matchday two. It's the Egyptians who England face next on Monday (3:45pm kick-off).
Elsewhere in Qatar, young Foxes prospect Will Daniels will be hoping to build on his promising display for Canada in their 2-1 success over Uganda earlier this week when they tackle France on Saturday (1:30pm kick-off).
