  • Jakub Stolarczyk previews our visit to West Bromwich Albion (8pm BST kick-off)
  • We are fourth in the Sky Bet Championship, while the Baggies are currently seventh
  • Stolarczyk says we 'not satisfied' with the draws against Oxford and Coventry
  • There are nevertheless positives to take from the performances, he says
We go there after successive draws with Oxford United, away with 10 men, and Coventry City, a tense M69 Derby where we had chances to take all three points.
There’s naturally a sense of frustration not to have taken victories from each match, but the Polish stop-stopper was eager to emphasise the positives this week in Seagrave.
Next up are the Baggies, who themselves look to be in the play-off picture during these early weeks of 25/26, and Stolarczyk says preparation will be key for Martí Cifunetes’ men.
“We know how good they are each year in the Championship,” he said. “They’re always at the top end of the table. We know it’s going to be difficult.

“We’re going to prepare ourselves the best way we can and go there with a big energy, good attitude, and hopefully come back with three points.
“With the last two games, where we drew them, we’re not satisfied. But at the same time, we have to take the positives. We haven’t lost those games, so we’re still taking a point. In general, I’d say we’re pretty happy with the start.
“Not fully happy because we’d only be fully happy if we’d won every single game, but there are a lot of positives. We’re still improving as a team. There’s still a lot of work we need to do. We’ll keep building.”

The 24-year-old was keen to point to the togetherness which exists in this Leicester City squad, which combined with a confidence in their own abilities, he feels can take us far.
“The most important thing for us, I think, is the togetherness that we’ve got in the squad now,” he added. “You can see it in the previous games, where there’s bodies on the line, everyone’s working for each other.
“If one man makes a mistake, there’s another 10 that’s going to help him out. That’s the most important thing. The quality we have in the squad is very high, so it’s up to us to keep improving, keep building with the new Manager and the new ideas, to implement them on the pitch and keep having better results and performances.”
