Missy Goodwin took home the top prize for LCFC Women

The 38-year-old opened the scoring in a 2-0 win over Ipswich Town on Filbert Way, and in doing so netted his 200th City goal on his 500th and final appearance for the Club.

The awards add another chapter to his already iconic Leicester City legacy, which spans a total of 13 years having joined us from Fleetwood Town in 2012 and becoming one of the greatest players in our history.

The Young Player of the Season, meanwhile, was Bilal El Khannouss, who featured 36 times in all competitions during an impressive debut campaign, while James Justin’s stunning long-range strike at Arsenal in September was voted Goal of the Season.

Jake Evans and Jeremy Monga collected the Development Squad award.

In the Development Squad, the Player of the Season award was shared between the talented duo of Jeremy Monga and Jake Evans, with both players catching the eye throughout the year and making their First Team debuts in April.

Louis Page was the winner of the Academy Player of the Season, with the England U17s international featuring regularly for the Development Squad.

A stellar season in Leicester blue for Missy Goodwin.

The trio’s recognition underlines the depth of talent being nurtured in our Academy and the bright future that lies ahead.

For LCFC Women, Missy Goodwin was honoured with the Player of the Season award, having played a pivotal role in the team’s campaign with her dynamic performances and key contributions across the pitch.

The Players’ Player of the Season was Janice Cayman, who also claimed the Goal of the Season award for her wonderful volley in a 3-0 win over Aston Villa in February.

We congratulate all the winners and thank the Blue Army for their continued support throughout the season.
