The defender arrives with experience in both WSL 2 and on the international stage, adding strength to the Foxes' squad ahead of the new campaign.
With promotion firmly in Leicester's sights, Stapleton is eager to contribute both on and off the pitch.
Speaking after completing the move, Stapleton said: “I’m happy that it’s finally got over the line, and I’m ready to get going. I think it’s a club with a lot of ambition.
“After what happened last season, I want to help the Club get back to where it belongs, in the WSL.
“I’m experienced in the league, and at national team level, so I think the Club know my strengths, and they can help me to grow as a player and I’ll help to get them back to where they belong.”
The 21-year-old adds leadership and versatility to our defensive options ahead of the new campaign. Comfortable across the back line and with senior international experience already under her belt, Stapleton will be looking to make an immediate impact as our target remains promotion back to the top flight.
Stapleton added: “In the dressing room, I’m a joker, but on the pitch, I’ll be barking. I bring that physical side, I love a big challenge, I’ll be aggressive and front-footed.
“But I also like having that calmness on the ball and be involved in the build-up play when I can. I’m just excited to get onto the pitch and start training.”
