  • The 19-year-old arrives from League of Ireland’s Shamrock Rovers
  • Goalkeeper pens a three-year deal at King Power Stadium
  • Katie to attend LCFC Women kit launch on Thursday 7 August
The 19-year-old Irish shot-stopper arrives at King Power Stadium after signing a three-year contract and further strengthens our goalkeeping options ahead of the 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League campaign.
Speaking to Foxes Hub, Katie said: “It’s incredible to be here and I can’t wait to get started. The stadium looks fantastic and I’m looking forward to being here with our supporters in September.
“Shot-stopping and communication are my strongest attributes. It’s important to encourage your team-mates and that’s what I’d like to bring to the team.”
Katie joins the Foxes with senior League of Ireland experience already to her name, having previously featured for Shelbourne FC, Athlone Town, and most recently, Shamrock Rovers.
She made history at just 16, becoming one of Shelbourne’s youngest ever league debutants before playing a pivotal role in Athlone Town’s FAI Cup triumph the following season.
In 2024, she firmly established herself as Athlone’s first-choice goalkeeper, playing every minute across 28 league and cup fixtures as they secured the league title. Her standout performances led to a move to Shamrock Rovers in January 2025.
On the international stage, Katie’s talent has been recognised with several Republic of Ireland squad call-ups, following her standout displays during the UEFA Women’s Under-19 European Championship in Lithuania.
Don’t forget, Katie will be officially unveiled as part of our LCFC Women kit launch event taking place at 4pm in the Foxes Fanstore on Thursday 7 August. The free event offers supporters the chance to meet members of the squad, manager Amandine Miquel and Filbert Fox.
Be among the first to welcome Katie, another additional new signing, and witness a special live player announcement also set to take place on the day. More information.
