Leicester Pride taking place on Saturday 30 August
Pride Parade to start from the Curve Theatre at midday
The event is one of the country’s largest free Pride festivals
Having supported Leicester Pride for a number of years, we’re honoured to continue playing a role in promoting inclusion, equality and representation across Leicestershire and beyond.
As part of this year’s celebrations, we’ll be joining forces with our LGBTQ+ supporter group, Foxes Pride, and local inclusive football team, Leicester Wildecats, to host a vibrant and welcoming stall at Abbey Park, offering giveaways, signed LCFC merchandise and information about our ongoing inclusion work. Our famous mascot, Filbert Fox, will also be taking part in the Pride Parade through the city centre - which starts from the Curve Theatre at midday.
Leicester Pride is one of the city’s biggest and most important annual events, drawing thousands of people together to promote equality and diversity.
The Club’s continued involvement reflects our commitment to making football and our wider community a welcoming space for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
We’d like to invite all supporters to join us in celebrating Leicester Pride and help continue to build a football culture that is inclusive, diverse and respectful.
