Getting points on the board was the order of the day after the opening-weekend reverse to Fulham back in Seagrave last weekend.
And it was looking good for the young Foxes just three minutes in, as Alpha Diallo put us ahead, a lead built on by Lorenz Hutchinson seven minutes before the break.
Ten minutes from time in the second half, it got better too as David Anugo made it three for the visitors, although Henry Agyekum did get one back for the home side.
We’re back in action on Tuesday night, taking on Newcastle United in the Premier League U18 Cup (1pm BST kick-off).
The details...
City: Marson, Aideed (Fletcher 72'), Toko, Diallo, Daniels (Jacklin 72'); de Lisle, Lawrence; Carr, Corden (Manyumba 62'), Owusu (Anugo 62'); Hutchinson.
Unused sub: Stretton.
Goals: Diallo 3', Hutchinson 38', Anugo 80'.
