Our Men’s First Team take on Arsenal on Saturday 15 February (12:30pm GMT kick-off) before LCFC Women host Aston Villa on Sunday 16 February (3pm GMT kick-off).
We’ve supported the FvH initiative, which exists to challenge discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression at all levels of football, for several seasons and were recently nominated in the Professional Game category at the FvH awards. Our work with LGBTQ+ supporter group, Foxes Pride, continues to go from strength to strength and we look forward to welcoming members to Filbert Way this weekend. The group will have an information stall inside the Foxes Fanstore on both matchdays for supporters to learn more about their work, while FvH branding will be visible throughout the stadium as we show our continued support for LGBTQ+ inclusion.
Prior to Saturday’s game, we’ll also welcome Arsenal’s LGBTQ+ supporter group, Gay Gooners, pitchside for a photo opportunity with Foxes Pride.
The FvH initiative was originally conceived and launched in 2010 by the Justin Campaign, which was founded in 2008 to demonstrate that 10 years after Justin Fashanu's tragic suicide, homophobia was still hugely prevalent in both grassroots and professional football.
Foxes Pride – who have more than 200 members – work alongside Leicester City to promote inclusivity and support the LGBTQ+ community in football and wider society.
