There were no changes made to the starting XI who drew with Tottenham Hotspur last time out, but the Gunners proved too much to handle under the lights.
Caitlin Foord scored twice, as Stina Blackstenius, Beth Mead and Victoria Pelova also netted at Emirates Stadium to put the Gunners three points clear in second, while we remain 10th in the Barclays Women's Super League, seven ahead of the drop zone.
Quick-fire start from the hosts
A difficult evening for the Foxes.
A difficult evening for the Foxes.
In what was always going to be an uphill battle for the Foxes, the hosts started brightly in the capital, pressing us deep into our own half and taking the lead inside 10 minutes.
Foord, netting her fifth WSL goal of the campaign, reacted quickly in the box to turn a cross goalwards, hitting the underside of the crossbar on the way in.
Eight minutes later, the Gunners' lead was doubled when Beth Mead got past Asmita Ale, and played a low ball into the path of Blackstenius, who made no mistake from close range to give the London outfit a stronghold in the game early on.
Unfortunate deflection for Arsenal's third

Before the break, Arsenal gave themselves a commanding lead when Foord notched her second, as a tough first half for the Foxes was epitomised by the Australian's second of the day.
But the winger did need the help of an unlucky Julie Thibaud deflection which helped take the ball over Janina Leitzig and all but confirm the three points.
Momiki finds a consolation goal
Challenging at Emirates Stadium.

Amandine Miquel remains on the hunt for her first away win in charge of Leicester and has one chance remaining when we face Crystal Palace at their home in a few weeks. There was something for Leicester fans to cheer about in the second half, however, when Momiki found the net.
Her fourth of the league campaign, the Japanese midfielder sent one in from the edge of the box, a low driven left-footed effort which had Manuela Zinsberger rooted to the spot.
It's 12 days until our next fixture, when we take on Manchester City at King Power Stadium on Sunday 27 April (with tickets still available for purchase), as we look to confirm our WSL status come the end of May.
