- Janina Leitzig leaves LCFC Women for an undisclosed fee - The goalkeeper joins Manchester United in a permanent transfer - She made 69 appearances for City since January 2023

With Janina’s release clause met, she will leave the Football Club following three seasons in Leicester, having initially joined us on loan from German Bundesliga side FC Bayern München in January 2023.

An impressive loan spell culminated with a permanent move to King Power Stadium in the following summer with Janina continuing as a mainstay in our starting XI the following season.

The 27-year-old would go on to make a total of 69 appearances in all competitions across three seasons and leaves with our sincere thanks for her service in City colours.
