  • The final group fixture takes place at Meadow Lane on Sunday (3pm kick-off)
  • Foxes Manager Rick Passmoor wants his to go into the game with confidence
Anything other than a defeat to WSL 2 opposition this weekend will confirm our spot in the knockout stages of the League Cup.
Top of Group D, two wins from two against Ipswich Town and London City Lionesses has put us in pole position to keep our cup run alive.
Speaking on the all-important game against Palace, Passmoor wants the Foxes to remain humble, and focused on the factors we can control.
Looking to get back to winning ways this weekend.

“Getting momentum is important but we just want to play our game,” the Manager stated. “We’ve seen so many successes in recent months and matches and therefore we just want to take it one game at a time.
“We need to make sure we’re in the best possible shape, and to keep the focus on us.
“Crystal Palace are a good side, and as always, we need to respect them in order to get a positive result on Sunday, because after all, we want a good cup run.”
On the touchline.
On the touchline.
Two of our three wins this campaign have come in the League Cup, and the Manager wants to keep this momentum going, rewarding the effort put in on a day-to-day basis.
“We want to showcase ourselves at Leicester City, and a cup run is a good way to do that,” Passmoor continued. “But we focus on all of the competitions we play in, whether it be the cup or the league.
“It’s all about progress and development within this group and if we can do that by being successful in the meantime, that’s perfect.”
