Following Wednesday's loss to Arsenal at Emirates Stadium, our fate at the bottom of the WSL was confirmed, meaning we will feature in a winner-takes-all play-off game to determine our division next season.
Ahead of that, two games remain in the league campaign, starting with a home test against reigning champions Chelsea, who make the trip to the East Midlands for a 2:30pm BST kick-off...
Chelsea in focus
The Blues beat Everton last time out.
Currently six points behind Manchester City, with two games to go, it looks likely that the London outfit will lose their six-year run as WSL champions, but that doesn't mean this season has been a failure.
Having already lifted the Subway Women's League Cup earlier on this campaign, they still have a shot at Adobe Women's FA Cup glory, when they meet the Citizens in the final on Saturday 9 May.
Sonia Bompastor's side head into this one unbeaten in their last four, with Sam Kerr back in red hot form, with the Australian striker netting twice in their last fixture; a 4-1 win over Everton.
The Foxes camp
The Foxes fate at the foot of the WSL was confirmed on Wednesday evening.
The midweek loss in the capital has confirmed Leicester's fate already this season, no matter what happens in the final two, but Rick Passmoor believes this offers his side clarity, and a clear focus - to win the play-off.
Failing to win any match-up in 2026, you could argue this is the worst time to face Chelsea, however, with the pressure now off, the Manager is hoping his side can use these last league games to build confidence.
Shannon O'Brien remains our top scorer in the league this year with four, but the Foxes will be aiming to find goalscoring form before the all-important play-off game, with our opponents set to be confirmed this weekend.
