The opening day brought some success for the Foxes, as we beat London City 2-1 in the first game and pushed Chelsea all the way before eventually losing 3-1 against one of the tournament's favourites.

Heading into the game three this Friday, it was a winner-takes-all match with Everton that would see the victor progress into Saturday's semi-finals.

Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be for Leicester, as we lost 8-2 to the Toffees, with Noémie Mouchon and Denny Draper getting themselves on the scoresheet; a second in the competition for the French striker.

The result means that Chelsea and Everton will go through to Saturday's knockout stage from Group 1, as City ended with a win and two losses in a first-ever London based edition of World Sevens.
