  • Jeremy Monga scored in back-to-back games for England U18s
  • Louis Page included in starting XI versus Cyprus on Sunday
  • Harry Souttar given first start for Socceroos since November 2024
After scoring the decisive goal from the bench in a 2-1 win versus Greece U19s three days earlier, Monga was included in Ben Futcher’s final starting XI of the campaign, opening the scoring at Dasaki Achnas Stadium.
Page also made the starting line-up against the hosts and banked an important 60 minutes, building on his appearance in the Young Lions’ win earlier in the week.
Futcher’s side now turn their attention to the UEFA U19 EURO matches scheduled for later this year.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Australian international Harry Souttar started in the side’s penultimate World Cup friendly match before the FIFA World Cup Finals in North America this summer.
Souttar had to wait 19 months to see his name back in the starting XI due to injury, as Tony Popovic’s team fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Mexico by way of Johan Vásquez's goal, with the defender coming through 90 minutes at the Rose Bowl in California.
Australia have one final friendly match ahead of their group stage opener versus Turkey on 14 June, facing Switzerland this Saturday (8pm BST kick-off).
