Heading into the festive break in good form, with a 1-0 win over London City Lionesses, the Manager is eager for his side to start building that consistency, starting this weekend with a trip to London.
Speaking on the players’ fitness, new signings and our opponents, Passmoor was beaming with confidence when he met the media at Belvoir Drive this week…
‘Important to bring in WSL experience’
Experienced defender Ashleigh Neville joined from Spurs this month.

Leicester have been busy in the early stages of the winter transfer window, with three new recruits, in the form of Emma Jansson, Sarah Mayling and Ashleigh Neville, all coming through the doors.
Speaking on what could be an emotional return to North London for Neville, the Manager analysed all three signings and spoke about what they will add to the squad.
“The Club have been watching her (Jansson) for a couple of seasons now and what she brings is valuable experience from Sweden and she’s able to play multiple positions down the spine of the team,” Passmoor explained.
“Already in training, you can see the value she brings to the team so we’re excited to see what she can do, and she is available this weekend.

“When you look at the squad and areas to improve or work on, it was important we brought players in with WSL experience, both on and off the pitch.
“That was a priority, and in terms of how we play, we know Sarah [Mayling] is a combative full-back or wing-back and brings quality in the final third which is important for us.
“For Ashleigh [Neville], it was a case, in our recruitment, to look at how they are and in the last 24 hours, you can see the warmth and gratitude from Spurs, so it shows the type of player we’ve added.
“What we’re trying to build is the right character and having her in the building is really positive in the short term. She’s a true professional and she’s ready to play.
‘We’ve come back in good spirits’

Four weeks away haven’t halted progress, Passmoor believes, as his side remain full of energy and high spirits, heading into the restart.
Admitting it is consistency the Foxes have lacked; he believes the learnings from the first half of the season will put them in good stead for 2026.
The Manager added: “With or without the players we have brought in, the team have been fantastic in the first three or four month period we’ve had already and for them to produce that result (against London City) provided them a chance to relax and enjoy the Christmas break.
“They’ve come back in good spirits we’ve had to adapt this week, like many clubs have to, with the recent weather, but we’re in a good place.
“They’ve been keeping themselves ticking over during the break and they’ve worked hard this season, and we don’t expect that to stop now when we return Sunday.”
‘They’ve been good this year’
Sunday's hosts are sat mid-table in the WSL.

This weekend’s opponents have won six of their first 11 games this season, which sits them comfortably in fifth position.
Full of praise for what manager Martin Ho has achieved since arriving last summer, he knows it will take everything to leave the capital with three points.
“Martin [Ho] has done well,” Passmoor stated. “He knows the Scandinavian market and has recruited well from that pool and we know that they have got momentum.
“They have been really good this year and that’s a pat on the back to him and his coaching side, but we’re looking at it, in the way that it’s what we want to achieve.
“We also want to be in that mid pack over the next few seasons. We’re looking forward to the game.
“At King Power Stadium, we only lost by the one goal and that was early in the season, even though we were showing our credentials, so we want to build on that, showing we can be more consistent over the 90 minutes and that starts this Sunday.”
