LCFC Women return to WSL action this weekend
We face Tottenham Hotspur at Brisbane Road this Sunday (12pm GMT kick-off)
Ahead of the game, Rick Passmoor provided an update on several players within the squad
One positive from the winter break is that it gives injured players four-week respite to get back to full fitness and that has been the case for a handful of players within our ranks.
Noémie Mouchon, who was a late substitute against London City in December, is back in contention to play against Spurs, as are the three new signing's - Emma Jansson, Sarah Mayling and Ashleigh Neville - who the Club announced this month.
The Manager confirmed Mouchon is back in contention to play this weekend.
There will still be absentees from the team too, such as Celeste Boureille, who suffered an ACL injury prior to Christmas, along with Denny Draper and Jutta Rantala, who are working their way back to fitness.
"Denny [Draper] and Jutta [Rantala] are still working with the medical department," Passmoor told the media. "Celeste [Boureille], of course, has an ACL injury, but she's seeing a specialist today and will have an operation soon, and then she'll be in rehab, but of course, will be out for the season.
"Hlín [Eiríksdóttir] and heather have joined us in training this week, but still doubtful that they will play this weekend. We've just come off the pitch so we will have to see.
"Noemie [Mouchon] is available and doing well so will be in contention after training this week."
