Two first half goals saw the visiting side come out victorious, but it was another good, and final, runout for Rick Passmoor's side, before our WSL2 season opener against Sheffield United next week.

Under extreme weather conditions, all of our summer recruits were given minutes in the game, with the newest addition, Araya Dennis, who is spending the season with us on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, coming on in the second half.

It was also an opportunity for Irish goalkeeper Katie Keane to get her first minutes of pre-season, between the sticks during the first '45 before swapping out for Olivia Clark.

Our campaign starts next Sunday (2pm kick-off) with a trip to Bramall Lane to face the Blades, tickets and Fox Travel for which can be found HERE.

We travel to Sheffield United next week for our first WSL2 game of the season.

Following that, we welcome Durham to King Power Stadium on Sunday 13 September (3pm kick-off). Season Tickets, priced at just £60 for adults, are still available HERE. Make sure to bring the family along, for what promises to be a fun-filled return to Filbert Way.
