Holding a dual citizenship, and representing her mother’s homeland on the international stage, the centre-forward brings plenty of experience, playing for multiple teams across Europe, most recently BK Häcken, where she scored 20 times in a little over 60 appearances.
Ready to show what she can bring to the English game, Nyström sees this as a proud moment in her career.

“Leicester is an amazing Club, so it’s an honour to be here,” the striker explained, standing inside King Power Stadium. “I’m so excited, I saw the pitch for the first time and it’s beautiful in the arena and I hope to make a lot of memories here.
“It’s a new adventure which I hope will be fun, and I hope to help the team with my strengths. I play with a lot of strength and power when I’m at my best, so I’ll try to bring that to the group.”
Speaking on her ambitions, the 25-year-old is dreaming of a positive season, with the long-term aim of helping us return to the top division.

The attacker added: “Obviously I want us to have a good season and to perform well, and that’s about doing well every game, and taking it one game at a time.
“Looking at the bigger picture, I want Leicester to be in the highest league, and to perform there of course.”
