It took the visitors 74 minutes to break the deadlock through Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw, who then went on to score a second nine minutes later, before Kerolin added herself to the scoring on Sunday afternoon.
Rick Passmoor made four changes from the side that were beaten by Crystal Palace in the Subway Women's League Cup prior to the break, with Janina Leitzig, Julie Thibaud, Janice Cayman and Hannah Cain all coming back into the XI.
A resilient first half
The scores were level until 74 minutes.
The scores were level until 74 minutes.
The Foxes withstood a first-half attack from the side currently at the summit of England's top division, while trying to catch them on the break with the pace of Shanon O'Brien and Cain.
Utilising the favoured back-five system, Passmoor's side were keeping the Manchester outfit at bay, with a enthralling battle between Jamaican team-mates, Chantelle Swaby and Bunny Shaw.
An early change, which saw Emily van Egmond come on for Hlín Eiríksdóttir, forced through injury, required some adjustment, but it remained level at the break.

The quality from a side searching for their ninth win of the campaign was always going to shine through, but unfortunately for Leicester, who had battled for so long, it came out in force heading into the final 15 minutes.
Shaw, who had several chances go wide of the mark, got herself on the scoresheet with a low driven shot from inside our box, before netting again less than 10 minutes later.
Into injury time, and with Leicester still pushing for any chance of a point on home soil, Kerolin broke free on the break, and found the target to confirm the points for the travelling side.
Goodwin makes her return
Back on the pitch.
Back on the pitch.
For the first time this season, Missy Goodwin made a competitive appearance in a Leicester City shirt, coming on in 72nd minute for O'Brien.
Missing the majority of the first half of the season through injury, the young winger was then unfortunate to pick up an illness which ruled her out of the Brighton and Palace games.
Now back with the team and building minutes, we are back in action at King Power Stadium next weekend when we close out 2025 against London City Lionesses, with tickets still available.
