The Jamaican centre-half has become a stalwart in the centre of a back five for Rick Passmoor this year. Frustrated to concede goals, like any defender is, the No.31 believes the Foxes deserved more from their efforts.
Seeing a Julia Zigiotti Olme cross go straight into the net for the first, before Elisabeth Terland found the net late on, was disappointing for the centre-back, who spoke on a great battle in her post-match interview.
Swaby believes there were good elements to the Foxes' performance on Saturday.

“Coming into the game, we knew it would be a great challenge, but we were up for it,” Swaby revealed. “Obviously conceding that goal early on made it difficult to get back into the rhythm of the game.
“But I think after we settled in and managed to get our head up, it was a good battle for sure and you guys were able to see that in the second half with our performance.”
Stating that the half-time message was to keep doing what you’re doing, but with added confidence, certainly had a positive effect on the team.
Wanting to start picking up more clean sheets, the defender knows how crucial that is, while opportunities and goals go through a dry patch at the other end of the pitch.

“I think the message was to stay the same, we just needed to really believe that we could go after it like we thought we could at the beginning of the game,” Swaby continued.
“When we went out in the second half, we thought ‘we have this’, and we needed to get out on the front foot, and I think we did exactly that.
“Us, as a defensive line, we pride ourselves on not conceding and trying to keep the ball out of our box, and for most of the game I think we showed that and how compact we are as a team.”
