In late March, 2025, City held on for a 3-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, making it three home wins on the bounce in the Barclays Women's Super League for the first time.
Although the next home match against Tottenham Hotspur ended in a draw, it did continue an unbeaten home run spanning over four months; also a Club record.
Now setting the task of reaching their highest-ever points tally set at 18, and currently on 16, we've delved into the archives to look at some other interesting facts and figures.
Most appearances
Sam Tierney - 126
Leading in appearances.

The history-making win over the Seagulls was also a special occasion for our leading appearance maker, Tierney, who notched 125 for the Club and is continuing to increase that tally with each passing game she plays.
Scottish defender Sophie Howard is the only other LCFC Women player to hit over 100 outings, currently on 119 since the 31-year-old signed for Leicester back in the summer of 2020.
Missy Goodwin comes on to the board in third place with 74 apps, while two-time UEFA Women's Champions League winner Janice Cayman has recently hit the half-century mark, as the Belgian international continues to break her own records as the Club's oldest female player, and goalscorer.
Youngest ever goalscorer
Denny Draper - 16 years, 11 months, 2 days
The youngest ever player to score for Leicester.

Following her impressive stint in the Barclays Women's Championship, Natasha Flint remains our all-time leading goalscorer with 25, as current players Tierney (13), Jutta Rantala, Shannon O'Brien (11), Hannah Cain and Cayman (10) all chase that accolade.
The holder, however, for youngest goalscorer falls to Draper, who netted a month before her 17th birthday on 18 February 2024, in a 5-2 win over Bristol City on Filbert Way.
The Academy continues to strengthen our First Team with players such as Nelly Las and Simone Sherwood all breaking through during the current campaign, but it is former Fox Ava Baker who, to this day, remains our youngest-ever appearance holder, featuring against Manchester City just four days after turning 16.
Honours
Women’s Championship - 2021
Lifting the Championship title.
Lifting the Championship title.
Since our promotion to the top flight four years ago, the Foxes have matured and stabilised as a WSL team, and the title-winning season back in 2021 won't be forgotten.
The squad, which included the likes of Tierney, Howard, Cain and O'Brien; captained by Sophie Barker, lifted the Championship trophy after a phenomenal season, which included 16 wins out of 20 games.
A run of 12 wins in a row and a record 10 clean sheets in a single season all led to us getting 50 points out of a possible 60 confirming top spot and promotion, and Leicester have remained one of the top 12 sides in English football ever since.
