The 27-year-old has made 151 appearances for City

Sam signs new terms at King Power Stadium having made 151 appearances for the Foxes since joining the Football Club in the summer of 2020.

Speaking to LCFC.com, Sam said: “There are many reasons as to why I wanted to extend my time here. I have a genuine connection to this Club and have been here a number of years now. I have a lot of pride in wearing this shirt.

"I am committed and like to give my all to the Club, and we're in a position now that requires that. I am really pleased to be here and hopefully being part of us rebuilding for a great future ahead.”

Born in Sheffield, Sam began her career with Doncaster Rovers Belles and Sheffield United, before making the move to Leicestershire in 2020, where she would go on to help us lift the WSL 2 title in her first season.

A reliable and tenacious performer, the central midfielder remains our longest-serving player and has established herself as a mainstay in our XI over the last six years.

Sam has linked back up with the squad at Belvoir Drive for pre-season testing and training ahead of our 2026/27 WSL 2 campaign.
