Our second signing of the winter transfer window, Mayling arrives from Aston Villa across the Midlands, heading to Filbert Way in search of vital game time.
Explaining how she felt motivated after speaking to Manager Rick Passmoor, the full-back also discussed her attributes and what the Foxes fans can expect from her on matchdays.

“I want to play football,” Mayling stated. “After meeting Rick [Passmoor], and of course I know Lee [Billiard] from Villa, and they made me feel very welcome and confident. They believed in me, so it became a no brainer to come here.
“The facilities and environment the Club are trying to build here are fantastic and all feed into their ambition. You want to be working every day at a place which motivates you and lets you be the best person you can be so I’m looking forward to it.
“I like to be aggressive and defend from the front. In the final third, crossing and passing, I like to create goals and help my team-mates where I can.”
The 28-year-old went on to talk about her personality off the pitch, describing herself as a confident person who likes to keep the positive energy flowing in the dressing room.

Currently ninth in the Barclays Women’s Super League at the halfway stage, the English defender is fully committed to wearing the shirt with pride.
Mayling added: “I keep myself to myself and I like to build confidence and keep morale high whenever I can as well.
“I’m quite relaxed, easy-going and after talking to the Manager, I want to help the team achieve their goals.
“Leicester have had some good results in the first half of the season and I’m hoping I can add to that and aid a good second half of the season.”
