Games to take place between 28-30 May at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium
All seven-a-side matches to be shown live on Sky Sports
Tickets are now available to all supporters HERE
The inaugural UK tournament follows successful events in Estoril in Portugal and Florida’s Fort Lauderdale, and will feature teams from across the Barclays Women’s Super League competing in seven vs. seven games.
Lee Billiard, Director of Women and Girls’ Football, said: “We’re pleased to be involved in World Sevens Football and look forward to seeing LCFC Women compete in what promises to be an exciting new format for the women’s game.
“The competition will give our players a different challenge, against strong opposition, a chance to see players personalities shine in a different way and another opportunity to represent Leicester City on a national platform.
“As women’s football continues to grow, events like this can play an important role in showcasing the quality, personality and appeal of the game to new and existing audiences.”
The three-day tournament format will feature 30-minute matches, rolling substitutions and no offside rules, in what promises to be fast-paced and action-packed entertainment for supporters.
Activations at the London event will include live DJs, food and beverage options, and football entertainment in a new setting for LCFC Women, with all games shown live on Sky Sports.
