The Barclays WSL comes to an end this weekend with the Foxes travelling to face Everton at their new home, Goodison Park, which will be our first ever visit to the historic ground.

While it will not be our last game of the season, with our participation in the play-off fixture against Charlton Athletic already confirmed, it is still a chance to turn the tide and get back to winning ways before travelling to London the following week.

Everton in focus

Former Fox, Yuka Momiki, currently plays for Everton.

Everton have had a somewhat underwhelming season by their high standards set in the summer, with recruitment including the likes of Ruby Mace and Yuka Momiki from Leicester, but will be hoping to push on again next term.

Having won once out of their last five, beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 away from home in March, their full focus won't be on us until after Wednesday evening, when they travel to Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal in their game in hand.

The Toffees' top scorer is Honoka Hayashi with four, but they have excelled in their defensive attributes, coming second to only Leicester in saves per match, and clearances per match this year, guiding themselves to eighth position with 20 points, winning six out of 20 so far.

Shannon scored her sixth of the season against Chelsea.

We're searching for our first success since beating London City Lionesses back in December, with a difficult period of form since the turn of the year.

Following defeats to London City and Arsenal, things did improve, performance-wise, against Chelsea in our final home outing a couple of weeks ago.

The Blues stormed to a three-goal lead, however an impressive home debut from 19-year-old Katie Keane, and a sixth goal of the season for Shannon O'Brien, brought some pride back to Filbert Way.
