LCFC Women are back in action following the international break this Sunday when we take on Arsenal, at King Power Stadium, for a 12pm kick-off.
Undefeated in our last three, in all competitions, this weekend's test pits us against the fourth-placed side in the division, who have won three of their first six.
Arsenal in focus
Arsenal are up next for City.
One of those fixtures to look out for in the calendar, Renée Sleger's side arrive in the East Midlands this Sunday for matchweek seven of the Barclays Women's Super League.
Scoring nine in two consecutive wins at the start of the term, against London City Lionesses and West Ham United, the Gunners were then held to draws with Manchester United and Aston Villa, before falling to defeat against Manchester City.
The current UEFA Women's Champions League holders have started to turn things around, most recently beating Benfica 2-0 in this year's competition.
The Foxes camp
We drew 0-0 with Villa last time out in the WSL.
The squad joins back together this week following the first international break of the campaign, as we look to build on the momentum from a Subway Women 's League Cup win against London City Lionesses last time out; Jutta Rantala scoring early on in the capital.
In the league, we sit ninth with five points from six games, having drew 0-0 with Aston Villa in our last WSL fixture, making that back-to-back clean sheets for Rick Passmoor's side since he was appointed as our permanent Manager.
Aiming for a third will be a difficult task, but backed by an ever-developing squad, and Janina Leitzig, who has been nominated for the WSL Save of the Month award, it will give the Blue Army some confidence heading into this test.
