  • Manager Rick Passmoor provided an update on his squad heading into the WSL fixture
  • Missy Goodwin, Heather Payne, Celeste Boureille and Janice Cayman were mentioned during Friday's press conference
It's been a busy schedule for our Foxes, especially those who were involved during the recent international break, before a tough test against Arsenal last time out, in which the Gunners ran out 4-1 winners.
Now building up to face a side at the other end of the table, City's Manager provided an update on a handful of players who are being tested prior to a decision on their availability, including Janice Cayman and Heather Payne.
The plus side is that Missy Goodwin, who was on the bench for the first time this season against Arsenal, and Celeste Boureille, are back and in contention for a spot in the matchday squad.
The Manager confirmed Celeste Boureille is in contention to play against West Ham.
The Manager confirmed Celeste Boureille is in contention to play against West Ham.
"We had a few knocks and bruises," Passmoor explained to the media. "Not just from Arsenal but from internationals, and the busy schedule so we've got a few we're working with at the moment.
"Heather Payne is still with the medics and we're assessing her. Midweek, Missy [Goodwin] had a run out for the Academy to get closer to availability, so she'll be available for selection. Good news is Celeste [Boureille] is also available."
Captain Cayman was withdrawn at half-time last weekend and the former West Ham Assistant Manager revealed she took a knock on Filbert Way, and her inclusion against the east London outfit is not confirmed.
"Janice [Cayman] had an injury and we've looked at her this week with the medics," Passmoor continued. "She's had a lighter week of training and we'll test her tomorrow to see how she's doing in terms of this weekend."
