Seven games into the season, LCFC Women currently sit 10th in the standings with five points, winning once, against Liverpool, in September.
On the hunt for a second success of the campaign, and a first WSL win on the road since January 2024, the Manager has been speaking to the media, as we prepare for a trip to east London.
Reaction from Arsenal
We were beaten by Arsenal last time out.

Our second-heaviest defeat this term, Passmoor discussed the loss to the Gunners, and the positive week we’ve had in training in order to correct those wrongs.
“We were disappointed and frustrated, especially with the first half,” he explained. “But the way we reacted was good and it was a massive learning curve for us.
“What you need to do as a professional sportsperson is emulate the players you play against, and Arsenal have some of the best in the world.
“We’ll learn a lot from that game, not just on our principles, but as individuals and how we set the team up, because us as coaches also need to learn from this defeat. The objectives we’ve hit this week in training has been good and we’re looking forward to putting things right.”
Scoring goals
Passmoor spoke on the importance of scoring more goals.

Finding the net on just four occasions in the league this year, the Manager admitted it is an area that his side have looked to improve on the training pitch.
But as Noémie Mouchon, who scored in back-to-back home games, and Missy Goodwin, who Passmoor has confirmed is available for this weekend, come into contention, Passmoor believes it is important to remain positive that the goals will start to flow.
“You’ve got to grow, the players have got to grow,” he continued. “At the moment, we’re aware of a lack of goals, but it’s how you handle it.
“If you put too much emphasis on it, then it can constrict the players and put them under pressure. You have got to continue to drive and learn, without stepping over that line, so it’s about a fine balance.
“We’re getting a little bit more competitive within the squad in those forward areas, with players coming back from injury, so we need to continue to grow and progress through the season. But it is one of those areas that we have been focusing on in particular this week in training.”
Facing West Ham
The Hammers are hunting for their first points of the season.

Preparing to face his old employers, Passmoor believes the Hammers, who are currently bottom of the standings with zero points, are in somewhat of a false position, and their quality on the pitch must be taken seriously in order to come away from Chigwell Construction Stadium with three points.
The Manager added: “Every week, you put together a game plan, look at a lot of information and review your opponent, and again with information, it’s about how you deliver that to the players. You want them to have a game plan but to feel relaxed and composed with how we play.
“West Ham, in some respects, are in a false position, because in a lot of games, they are playing well. They’re well drilled and at the moment it’s just about how they’re performing in both boxes, which happens to all teams at times.
“They played well against Man City this weekend and we need to make sure we play well as a team and are on our A-game to get a positive result.”
