After being in the starting XI for his nation's opening 2-1 victory over Uganda in midweek, Daniels was among the substitutes in Doha on Saturday. The game itself finished in a 0-0 draw which keeps Canada second in Group K with four points, three clear in the position, and level on points with leaders France.
The 17-year-old defender was introduced in the 79th minute in Qatar, helping his side keep a clean sheet in the latter moments, ahead of Tuesday's group-stage finale against Chile (12:30pm kick-off).
Elsewhere at the tournament, Louis Page and Jake Evans have both represented England's youngsters, who conclude their group stage against Egypt on Monday (3:45pm kick-off).
