Behind closed doors at Belvoir Drive, Amandine Miquel’s side got valuable minutes in the tank against fellow top flight opposition in a match which consisted of three half-hour segments.
A first outing for Leicester.
As the team starts to build shape for the new season, new players such as goalkeeper Katie Keane and midfielder Celeste Boureille got their first outing in a Leicester shirt, while some familiar players returned to the fold from injury.
French striker Noémie Mouchon was part of the action, following her lengthy spell on the sideline last year, after her arrival from Stade de Reims, as was Ruby Mace after her injury at Kingsmeadow towards the back end of the previous term.
Another positive sighting was that of Denny Draper, who has been absent under Miquel’s tenure so far, looking to make an impression along with the flood of Academy players also involved in a First Team scenario.
Minutes for Ruby and Noémie following injury.
