First-half goals from Saori Takarada, Yuka Momiki, CJ Bott and Simone Sherwood, accompanied by a second-half strike from Hannah Cain, sent the Foxes on their way to their biggest win of the season.
Amandine Miquel made five changes to the side that lost to Manchester City last time out, with Lize Kop, Sari Kees, Deanne Rose and Missy Goodwin all coming in, while Sherwood made her full Club debut.
Lining up for the Blues was Ava Baker, who came through the Academy at Belvoir Drive, and it was the England Under-19s winger who would make the first mark on the game, when she scored 15 minutes in against her former side. It came after a loose pass from Deanne Rose was intercepted by the visitors, leading to an impressive right-footed effort into the bottom corner.
Finding the corner.
Finding the corner.
After a tough half-hour, in which Birmingham continued to threaten, a switch was flicked by Leicester who incredibly went on to score four in just eight minutes.
Takarada scored the equaliser, after bundling the ball over the line following Deanne Rose's teasing low cross. A second was found immediately afterwards when Goodwin was fouled in the box by Louanne Worsey. Momiki stepped up and, calm as you like, found the bottom left-hand corner with an inch-perfect penalty.
After 60 games for the Club, it was then Bott who got in on the action as she scored her first Leicester goal, arriving late at the back post before drilling home, with no chance of the shot being stopped on the line.
Deanne Rose registered three assists at Meadow Lane.

A crazy end to the half was then rounded off by Academy player Sherwood, who took a low cross from Rose in her stride and played it under Olivia Szperkowska to give the Foxes a three-goal lead.
Into the second half, and with several changes made by both managers, the outcome was the same and Leicester extended their lead after the hour mark when Rose registered her third assist of the evening, to supply Cain, who evaded her defender to sweep home a low cross.
Despite an injury-time goal from Choe Yu-Ri, it was a resounding victory in Nottinghamshire, but sadly one that mattered little in the competition, as a Brighton & Hove Albion win over Bristol City confirmed Leicester's second-placed finish and means they bow out of the group with their heads held high.
