  • Leicester City in the Community to deliver Summer Football Camps at venues across Leicestershire throughout July and August
  • Sessions available for boys and girls aged 7-13 years old
  • Free places available through the EFL and Kellogg's Football Camps initiative
  • Camps to take place at 10 venues across the county, including LCFC Women's Training Ground
Taking place throughout July and August, the camps will be delivered at venues across the county, welcoming boys and girls aged 7-13 years old. Sessions will run from 9:30am to 3:00pm and will be led by Leicester City in the Community's team of qualified coaches.
As part of Leicester City in the Community's partnership with the English Football League (EFL) and Kellogg's, families can also access free places on selected Football Camps this summer through the Kellogg's Football Camps initiative.
The national programme aims to make football more accessible to young people by offering families the opportunity to claim a free camp day. To access a free place, parents or guardians simply need to purchase a promotional pack of Kellogg's Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes or Coco Pops, scan the QR code on the pack or visit our Kellogg’s Football camps, and register their child for a free session.
Designed to support players of all abilities, Leicester City in the Community's Football Camps provide a fun, engaging and inclusive environment where participants can improve their technical skills, build confidence and make new friends. Activities include coaching drills, skill development sessions, small-sided games and match play, all delivered by qualified coaches.
Among the venues hosting camps this summer are Holmes Park, Wreake Valley Academy, Fullhurst Community College, Coalville Town FC, Sileby Juniors FC, Mowbray Rangers FC, AFC Andrews, AFC Barwell, Uppingham Community College and LCFC Women's Training Ground at Belvoir Drive.
The programme forms part of Leicester City in the Community's ongoing commitment to providing accessible opportunities for young people to participate in sport, supporting physical wellbeing, personal development and positive experiences during the school holidays.
Mixed sessions will be available across all venues, while selected dates at LCFC Women's Training Ground and Sileby Juniors FC will also offer girls-only provision, creating additional opportunities for girls to participate and develop their football skills in a supportive environment.
Summer Football Camps will begin in July and continue throughout the school holidays until late August, with places available to book now. All camps are priced at £20 per day, with eligible participants able to claim a free day through the Kellogg's Football Camps promotion.
