How do I get to Barnsley?

Oakwell’s postcode is S71 1ET. It'll take around one hour and a half to get there by car, but make sure to allow additional time for traffic and possible disruptions. Parking is recommended at Queens Ground car park (S71 1AN), costing £5 for cars, £10 for minibuses and £20 for coaches.

Heading there by train will take around two hours, if departing from Loughborough, via Sheffield. However, please note that engineering works may cause delays to your journey and replacement bus services are set to be in place from Leicester station.

Barnsley train station is situated half a mile from Oakwell, taking around 10 minutes to walk on foot. Away fans will be situated in the North Stand at Oakwell.

I’m on Foxes Travel, what do I need to do?

If you’re travelling with us to Oakwell, please arrive at King Power Stadium no later than 7:15am, ready for a 7:45am departure.

If looking for a designated away pub once in Barnsley, the Shaw Inn (S70 6AD) welcomes away fans.

Other useful information…

Accessible access is adjacent to the away turnstiles, with stewards nearby for assistance. Card payments are encouraged inside Oakwell, but cash is also accepted.
