Leicester City are back on Filbert Way for a 12:30pm GMT kick-off against Chris Wilder’s Blades, who have recovered from a damaging start to the season over recent weeks, taking six points from their last two outings.
The Foxes, on the other hand, also won two games in succession either side of the international break – winning at Norwich City before defeating Stoke City on home soil – but the midweek reverse at Southampton, while down to 10 men, halted that progress.
Daka is the latest player to sit down with CITY Matchday Magazine, our official programme, for the Sheff Utd fixture and he took the time to take stock of our recent exploits.
“I always say that you cannot change the past, you can only change the future,” he told us. “We have to learn from what has happened, what we did wrong, what we have to improve and make sure that we carry that into the next game.

“It’s a very intensive league and it’s good that we have another game coming up so soon to rectify the mistakes we made in the previous games.
“We’ve had time to reflect and we know what we need to do to make sure it doesn’t happen again. It’s important that we stay together, keep our heads up and focus on what’s ahead because we can’t do anything about what has already happened.”
Eager to rewrite the narrative this weekend against our visitors from south Yorkshire, Daka pointed to the regularity of games at this level as a reason for optimism – with plenty of opportunities to put points on the board on the horizon.
“With the Championship, it doesn’t really matter what form the team is in – anything is possible and anything can happen,” the Zambia striker added.
“You just have to take it game by game. It doesn’t matter if you won or lost the previous game, the next one is always different.

“We just need to focus on Sheffield United because we know they’re a good side as well – they’re going to come with everything they have to try and get something from us.
“We have to make sure that they know they are coming to our home ground and it is not an easy place to go. We need to do whatever it takes to get maximum points as we can’t afford to keep dropping points at this stage.”
With his first goal of the season, against Stoke, still fresh in the memory, our No.20 is also eager to add more goals to his 25/26 tally now that particular landmark has been reached.
“It was a great relief for me,” he explained. “It also gives me more confidence for the next games. For the team, too, it was really important after the international break to get the win.
“We had a little setback on Tuesday but hopefully Saturday will be a different story and we can give the fans something to smile about with the three points they deserve.”
