City duo Ayew and Fatawu both started for Ghana in an international friendly with Austria at Ernst Happel Stadion, on Friday evening.
Five different goalscorers found the net for the European side, while Ayew’s strike in the 77th minute was a consolation for the travelling Black Stars, as he played the majority, with Fatawu withdrawn in the second half.

The pair have the chance to play again for Ghana in their next friendly, against Germany on Monday evening (7:45pm kick-off), who they meet at MHP Arena.
Olabade Aluko came off the bench to play the last 20 minutes in a 3-3 draw for the England Under-20s against Italy.

A first half brace from Thomas Watson and a header from Ayden Heaven gave England a strong lead at the hour mark, but the hosts came back with three second half goals at the Riano Athletic Centre in Rome.
On Sunday, we had several more young Foxes feature in the England youth setup, first of all with the Under-18s, when Louis Page started against Spain in their UEFA Euro Qualifying campaign.

Playing the whole game, he was joined by Jeremy Monga and Lorenz Hutchinson who were both introduced in the second half, with the game ending 3-1 in favour of Spain.
Divine Mukasa came off the bench for the England Under-19s, who beat Poland 1-0, replacing Harrison Armstrong just after the hour mark, as the home nation recorded their first win of the elite qualifying round for UEFA U19 EURO 2026.

Lastly, Hugo de Lisle also got a full game on the international stage, representing the England Under-17s, who fell to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Israel, leaving them with three points after their second game of their UEFA European Championship qualifying campaign.
