Several Leicester City stars are away on international duties over the coming week
UEFA Nations League action includes quarter-finals and play-off contests
Qualification campaigns continue in the FIFA World Cup and CONCACAF Gold Cup
Mads Hermansen and Jannik Vestergaard are among the Denmark squad which is set to embark on the Nations League's Quarter-Finals stage - taking on Portugal over two legs, with Victor Kristiansen joining up for the second fixture on Sunday.
The Netherlands, Spain, Croatia, France, Italy and Germany are the other sides in the last-eight stage of the European contest.
Wout Faes and Belgium, on the other hand, are set to participate in the play-off stage - to determine the league allocation of teams for the next edition of the competition, and which teams will be promoted and relegated.
The Red Devils are booked in for a two-game encounter with Ukraine for a place in League A.
Elsewhere, FIFA World Cup qualification is the focus for Wilfred Ndidi and Nigeria, who tackle Rwanda and Zimbabwe in African Group C. The Super Eagles have work to do, currently sitting fifth in their pool.
Ghana, with Jordan Ayew among their ranks, will face Chad and Madagascar in Group I, where they currently sit second. Bilal El Khannouss' Morocco, meanwhile, are top of Group E and tackle Niger and Tanzania.
Danny Ward could add to his Wales caps, too, as Wales start their European Group J campaign against Kazakhstan and North Macedonia. A two-legged CONCACAF Gold Cup qualification clash between Bobby De Cordova-Reid's Jamaica and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is also on the agenda during the two-week break.
Elsewhere, Logan Briggs, from City's Under-21s, has been called up for Wales Under-21s for friendlies against Andorra and Sweden.
