The 17-year-old made his senior debut in the Premier League in April 2025
He joined our Academy pathway at Under-9s level

The 17-year-old joined our Academy pathway at Under-9s level and has progressed rapidly since, leading to a First Team debut in the Premier League against Brighton & Hove Albion in April 2025.

He will now spend the new season gaining further experience in Sky Bet League Two with Cheltenham Town, who start their domestic campaign at home to Rotherham United on Saturday 15 August.

Born in Northampton, Jake started playing for our Development Squad at the age of 16 and was a standout performer, which resulted in four First Team appearances during our 24/25 Premier League campaign.

He signed his first professional contract in October 2025, before continuing his professional growth with Northampton Town in Sky Bet League Two for the second half of the 25/26 campaign.

The England youth international made 18 appearances for the Cobblers in all competitions and scored his first senior goal in a 3-1 defeat at home to Wigan Athletic in April 2026.

His new deal marks another proud milestone for both Jake and our Academy as he continues his footballing journey.
